Many of the writers that come to DBePub are new writers. As a writing teacher and editor, I love working with these writers. I don’t just edit for them; I take the time to help them become better writers as we work on their projects. But not all DBePub writers are new. Even experienced, published writers seek editorial support. One of the most experienced writers I’ve worked with is Jerry D Mathes, II.

What is DBePub?

DBePub is where solopreneur, Dee Broughton, offers custom writing, developmental editing, and electronic publishing in literary and genre fiction. As a writing instructor for graduate programs in the U.S., an international teacher trainer for English with the U.S. Department of State, and a published author, I have been editing and teaching writing to beginner and advanced writers for fifteen years.

When you request a consultation, I will work with you, personally, to plan your project. Then, my team and I will write, edit, revise, and publish your project to the stage you require.

I am currently specializing in developmental editing of literary and genre fiction, particularly romance, cozy mystery, and sci-fi. In non-fiction, I work with authors in the inspirational and the self-help markets. At this time, I am not accepting projects in PowerPoint and WordPress site design or in academic writing.

I charge industry standard rates by the project. There is a never a per word, per page, or per hour charge, so you always know the total cost of the project before you begin. I want you to feel comfortable working with me until your project is complete whether that takes 30,000 words or 60,000, 12 hours or 20.

I will always approach your project with the sensitivity, creativity, technical knowledge, and attention to detail that it takes to turn your ideas into the quality books and materials you need to promote your own efforts.
